We are doing a terrible job of gaining their blueline. The “break in” has looked very rough this year. That with the zone d in our end that makes us feel shorthanded.
If there is a fix it certainly is not players buying into a coaches system or way.

I think this is just who Lindholm is when you remove the Gaudreau boost. He was a 40 pt middle six in Carolina too.

It depends on who the partner is. If it's Toronto, I think Huberdeau is worth a lot, since it gives them a Huberdeau Matthews Marner top line.
But if it's a team that doesn't have any superstars that he can play with, then he's not even worth a 5M contract (50% retained), so we'd have to include something.

Some positives, lots of negatives.
I will say I'm done trying to figure out what Huska is as a coach, as the answer is a wet towel. Bad in the AHL, completely useless as an NHL head coach.
Not getting a GM and coach with fresh eyes into he organization was a truly pathetic move that just stinks of management where everyone sits around sniffing each other's farts.

I don't mind losing, because it will ultimately help the organization in the long run, but it would be nice to see is put up more of a fight.
I didn't think any flames player looked like they were really pushing at all.
