I bet he feels annoyed being second fiddle for so long when he actually wanted to be here. Flames going out their way to try and sign players who don't want to be here. I hope Conroy figures something out, but at least Zadorov is playing himself into good value in a trade unlike the other lame duck UFAs.

I think we’ll get a pretty good return regardless of where he gets sent.
Z fits the playoff mould and is in a nice age range that any acquiring team could have long term plans for him.
The league is on fire as more than a few teams with high expectations are struggling to find defence and goaltending.
Conroy should be able to do quite well.
