Knowing how it feels like to loose a family member is what makes me say that. It's a tough thing to go through. His passing away doesn't affect me in any way.

This is wierd as I saw Falwell as a moderate in the Christian community. It will be interesting to which of the wackos slides into his spot and assumes the throne of control over the millions. This is going to be tough to observe IMO.

Are you saying you never realized how extreme his views were or that there are people out there that make his views look moderate? If its the latter, then that is really scary...

Stereotype much?
I know numerous 'born again' Christians who are VERY concerned about our environment.

I added the rider 'seem to' as I know it's sterotyping but the vocal ones I've seen on TV [eg. Falwell, Hagee] follow this dogma and require their followers to do so also. You have to drink the whole bowl, or no heaven for you.

Good riddance. That guy has killed more people than any 5 serial killers in the USA combined. Because he gets people to kill for him in the name of Jesus it is acceptable though. I hope he rots in hell.

I read something somewhere today that he chose religion over an invitation to play for the St. Louis Cardinals when he was young.
It could have been Stan "the man" Musial and Jerry.
