Well done.
Admittedly...its been a ride.

Thank you otherwise inauspicious Thursday in November.

It must be another nuclear meltdown on CHED.

What an ending for the Penguins. They had a goal called back in overtime because it was offside. No problem, they win it on a wrap around immediately after the face off.

Its like looking like an insufferable dickhead is a employment requirement in Edmonton.

Look at Woodcroft and Gulutzan...I feel like Moe needs to come out and knock their heads together.

Come on Sharks, three game streak!
That puts them tied for 31st for points, and 31st in the standings.

You can’t have more than one team in 32nd. There are only 32 teams.

Correct, they are 31st in the NHL standigs...

But they're tied in points with the 32nd team, who just beat them... so I think we know who's really the worst team in the league.

I was just looking and if Crosby maintains this pace he will pass

Paul Coffee, Mark Recchi, Joe Thornton, Ray Borque and Phill Esposito to become 10th in all time point in the NHL.

EDIT: Passing Esposito this season may be a bit of a stretch.

Crosby 1516 Esposito 1590

Sid’s a true student of the game. He’s learned to adapt with age based on his IQ and work ethic. I wonder if McDavid will age as well due to how much he relies on his speed cause he’s inevitably gonna get slower

What a goddamn thoroughly enjoyable evening that was. Huge game from Hertl, just another example that two-way play doesn’t get the accolades relative to one-dimensional offence but always wins the games.

It's really remarkable, when you consider he could still play for a few more years, and that he lost half a season to the 2013 lockout, more than half a season to the COVID years, and even more to David Steckel. Could have been top 5.

Conversely those reduced work loads might have allowed him more mileage.

Really lol
No crap...that's why I said they win the tiebreaker based on games played. That is the only thing keeping them out of dead last...that's why I said go sharks.

Wow, this thread exploded with the Oilers spectacular loss.

Hellberg was great in net for the Penguins as he stopped 33 shots in the OT win and caps off a perfect 3-0-0 California road trip!

The Blues win a close game 2-1 in reg time. Special teams helped the Coyotes stay in the game as they were 7/7 on the PK and 1/2 on the PP.

The Bruins mow down the Islanders 5-2. Charlie Coyle gets his first career hat trick in almost 800 games. Pastrnak had a 3 point game.

The Rangers defeat the Wild 5-2 with Trochek and Lafreniere each with 3 points. The Rangers dressed their 3rd and 4th string goalies as their regulars are injured. Louis Domingue was in net and rookie Dylan Garand was the back up.
