RNH to the Bruins? cannot think of a player who is more of a non Bruin. yeah they would get a guy who rode the PP to 100 points who is soft and never comes to play in the playoffs, doesnt exactly sound like Bergeron replacement to me.
Maybe someone on here has already seen one… but how soon till we start seeing oilers fans posts sincerely suggesting they might just need one more first overall pick to get this team over hump? Someone to play with Mcdavid. Lol. They may not be saying it yet but they are definitely thinking it.
In case you enjoy Schadenfreude, they're all just absolutely losing their minds at this stage... these guys got by far their largest audience ever and the dude on the right is about to have a stroke.

Don't worry Oiler fans. The team is going to bring in Connors coach from the Erie Otters, Kris Knoblauch, as an assistant. That will solve all their problems. Just add more coaches.

They must not have been able to get a hold of woody last night on zoom. Instead they are just bringing his replacement on-board until they can sort out the whole zoom thing.
If McDavid is playing while injured, it likely means a few things:
1. The oilers management are incredibly stupid. Just beyond incompetent to do that to the “Golden Goose”.
2. It might mean he needs surgery to fully recover from it but management knows they are beyond cooked if they shut McDavid down for >2 months. The docs may have said something like “he probably won’t make the injury worse by playing but will not get back to 100% if he keeps playing.”
3. If their season trend continues for another 2 weeks, they likely throw in the towel and shut McDavid down for however long it takes to heal.
4. If they throw in the towel on this season, that’s likely it for Draisaitl with the oilers. Could see trade request by December with the trade maybe happening by the TDL. Maybe.

These are all likely scinarios. If I were an Oiler fan I would hope he is hurt, because other wise he would have to be checked out, and that would mean that it is curtains for him as an Oiler.
Not super happy about how the Flames start has been going. But I must admit. Watching what’s going on in Edmonton brings me so much joy. It really does.
The Oilers probably think that Giant Big Boy Rocket from Austin Powers is real and are trying to buy it so Woodcroft can be shot into space orbiting the planet for years in a ship that looks just like him for eternity. How dare he take away their guaranteed championship.

Its about time they got a sports station. CHED is literally just a paid Oiler advertisement
That's because Oilers fans don't want a real sports station that critically evaluates their team. They want as much cheering as possible, and to be told how special they are.
The people who cover the team aren't over the top fanboys because they are forced into it, they are because their fans naturally gravitate to being told they are the chosen team and they are owed success.
I'm sure any real sports writers that have tried to cover them learn pretty quickly that any type of even mild criticism of the overall team doesn't gets clicks, it gets angry complaints. See Hextal, Leah.
There is a huge amount of space between being a team friendly beat writer and an over the top sycophant, but Oilers fans don't want that.
it's the same with their Jack McMonsterTruck game call. They aren't stuck with him, hey actually like it and think it's good.
Oilers fans are the MAGA delusionals of the NHL, and they won't listen to anyone who challenges the divine right of their team. It's why their go to move is always to scapegoat a player or coach, with zero conversation about other issues.
