Wasn't Elliott a vezina finalist once? Could be misremembering but single time individual award nominations are often poor indicators of future performance. Markstrom is also getting old for a goalie.

Markstom has finished 2nd and 4th in Vezina voting...let's not pretend he has never been good. He has multiple high end years on different teams.
