Actually I have often thought is it would be a good idea to move Israel to North America. We could get them to buy a place like Montana:
Montana vs. Israel
Population (million) 1.104 vs 9.364
Total land area (sq. km.) 380,832 vs 22,145
Agricultural Land area (sq. km.) 235,122 vs 6,435
and what about the Israeli Holy sites? you think they'd just give those up, or are you moving those over with the Israeli people?
It's not just about land and having a place to live.
If you’d bothered to actually read the post you’d see that was the point.
People will be quick to jump in with how nonsensical moving every Israeli out of Israel is, for “reasons,” but for some reason leave statements suggesting we ship every Palestinian out of Palestine alone.
Yes, WWI led to WWII but it was resolved with peace treaties, not wiping any one side completely out.
No side was wiped out in Vietnam. Korean War too(technically still at war). I mean, there's got to be thousands of conflicts and wars over the centuries that didn't end with one side completely wiping out the other.
Actually, one of the problems with WWI is that it ended without Germany’s occupation. This made it easy for revanchists to claim they were never really defeated on the battlefield, and were stabbed in the back by internal traitors.
The Allies didn’t make that mistake in WW2 - they made sure every person in Germany and Japan could see with their own eyes that they were utterly crushed and defeated by vastly more powerful foes. That’s why fears of fanatical terrorist resistance among the populations of Germany and Japan never materialized - their countries were pounded so thoroughly into rubble that it was obvious even to fanatics that any further resistance was futile.

You don’t think the Israeli government is playing you like a fiddle just the same?
No doubt they’re putting their own spin on information. But I trust the information coming out of a multi-party liberal democracy with a free and independent press more than the information issued by a terrorist group.

Again, which is more trustworthy is not the question, but it’s telling people struggle to give a straight answer.
For a country with a free and independent press, they do love targeting and punishing Palestinian journalists, though.

That’s a little intellectually dishonest. One man’s terrorist is another’s freedom fighter and one man’s military is another’s terror organization. Both have proven to be untrustworthy and willing to go to extremes. The messages through the press should all be viewed with a high degree of skepticism.

We don't need to move the Palestinians/Israelis or see one side commit genocide. The problems would go away very quickly if outside forces would stop funding militant groups in Palestine. Groups like Hamas don't exist without Iran/Qatar/Turkey/Russia and formerly Saudi Arabia giving billions to Hamas.

True. They get billions in "aid" every year, and what do they have to show for it? A vast network of tunnels with entry points in mosques, schools, and hospitals, and a massive stockpile of rockets. Not to mention leaders who pocket the money.

Genuine curiosity, how many Isrealis have died since the first attack?
Israel is stating 30-40. That number seems ridiculously low given the extent of the ground fighting though, and that you've got Israel sending soldiers into fortified tunnels.
If you’d bothered to actually read the post you’d see that was the point.

Just so we are clear I wasn't suggesting 'forcing' Palestinians to leave, I suggested offering them a chance to leave with a better life somewhere else

Of course you should. They'd never deliberately lie to you.
Here is a message from Netanyahu's official spokesperson to the Arab media.

Do you regard information issued by the government of Russia and the government of Australia as equally credible? I mean, I’m sure they both lie. But does that mean we should throw up our hands and equivocate?

Lol! He keeps digging. It was the Palestinians. It was the Palestinians that made me do it!
Because the Palestinians would publish a video of a movie set to show the world that there's nothing to see here. All them images of our children being slaughtered? We're staging it!
