What a time to be alive. 5 foot 9 is the average size in north America. Being almost 6 1 is undersized .
I'm 6' 1". When I go back to the province Holland to visit
my moms family then I feel undersized as 6 foot is average height.

It still baffles me that In North America fans consider that undersized for hockey. I'm first gen here . Most players globally are not super sized .lol.

They are tall because they all have to be able to reach up to start the windmill in the morning

Impressive come back win by the team. It did feel like if they continued to put their foot on the pedal that the Nashville dam would eventually collapse. That’s 2 strong games in a row where the team played to their identity. These guys can’t erase the bad start in just one week, but continuing to chip away back into the race is realistic.
Big thumbs up to the Kadri line. They were absolutely dominant for most of the game. Props to Huska for managing to turn a rookie, a 4th line body and their most enigmatic skater into a highly functional line.

Solid game for kadri, really happy for the guy. Worked his *ss off. Zad was amazing. Ras was great as well. Sharangovich looked good. Huberdeau needed a kick in the *ss, as hard as that was to watch.

But he was properly managed last night.
It netted a result and the team and the fans felt good about it afterwards.
If Ryan went all Darryl on Huby after the game, killing the vibe, we’d likely be back at square one with this team.

Yes, the tough management was the benching. No need to say anything negative in the presser - that's poor management generally. Huberdeau doesn't need to be told anything via the press conference.

We're 4 points out. And we'd be 4 points out of it in the truly pitiful Eastern Conference as well.

Solid game by the guys. They kept pushing, even after some unfortunate plays that got them down 2 early. Full credit to Markstrom, who kept them in it and made those saves so Nashville didn't get that third. I think this team is slowly starting to get I on the defensive side. The forwards coming back and pressuring the puck carrier really showed that game. Still a bit scary when they set up that zone defense in their end. Flames were the better team all game and were just getting goalied early.
Also it is nice to see Zary play with that confidence. 3 points in 3 games...best Connor in Alberta right now. His play away from the puck should also be commended. I know the team has been frustrated early this season, so it was good to see them rewarded for a good effort.

Considering the last two games were almost entirely played without Mangiapane in the lineup, hopefully his return can keep the team rolling here for a little bit on the road.

Keep in mind, I'm talking about Zary as a 17-18-year-old junior player. I don't know how tall he was then, but he looked undersized relative to the other players in the WHL.
