Duehr deserved a benching, to. Has really been struggling. Running over Markstrom didn't help.

I'm proud to say I was on the opposite end.
Both last years camp and this years camp I thought he should have made the team. Looked like he had the makings of a player.
However, I do think looking back that he got just the right amount of seasoning in the AHL and was transitioned at the right time.

Nice to see Kadri dominate in the face-off dot.
Great game all around for that line, and for big Z.
I hate to see Huberdeau benched, because he seems like a likeable guy, but every play he makes seems like he wrong one, and it just kills whatever line he's on.

If Kadri plays like that, Flames are getting their money's worth. That was way more like it.
Maybe we just needed Singh's pronunciation to get Kadri back on track again.

Well it does seem like Kadri has had a spark with Zary and Sherangovich. Maybe one day Pelletier gets back and can re-energize Huberdeau.

I can't believe we are 3 points out of wild card.
Hopefully H and co got the message and decide to get on board.

Looking at the stats tonight, it feels like Zary got robbed of an assist somewhere. Just from watching the game, I had it in my mind he had two points.

Doctor Huska, give Huby a shot of vitamin Z(ary), stat! Can Zary play on multiple lines at the same time?

I'm glad that Huska kept the Kadri line together. The temptation to go with a line blender must have been there. Kadri and Huberdeau playing well really is the key to success for this team. Decent depth, but if the big guns don't show up the team is going to fall behind every game.

I don't know what Huberdeaus deal is, but if Kadri can turn it around as much as he has (and I thought he was beyond saving, too slow and too selfish to work with any linemates), then Jonathan absolutely can too.
Time to pull your head out of your poutine, bud.

All three of the call-ups had great games. Zary, Pospisil and DeSimone .

Nice to see 2 straight wins, and great for the Flames to win a game coming from behind as well, which is something that this team really struggled with last season.
Finally this team has 2 - maybe 3 'working lines' that seem to have chemistry, at least when Mangiapane gets back.
Zary - Kadri - Sharagovich
Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman
Greer - X - Duehr
I think Duehr has been more quiet than I expected him this season, but the 4th line hasn't really been an issue to me, regardless of who is in the middle.
Hardest part will be to get that top line going, but at least the Flames have 3 lines that seem to have some chemistry and are working now. Everyone on the Kadri line looked great.

Another win ! Yeaaaah!
What about moving Big Z up to wing to play with Huby ? can you imagine the chaos he would create .
Sharky has arrived love his game , and Zary is NHL ready love his tenacity and puck creativity
