So I was in a section of Oilers fans tonight. The amount of wooing and cheering in my face after the first goal was particularly abundant.
My personality in person is equal to my online self as far as just obnoxious prattle. They... Did not have a good game. One particular fan looked like she was going to murder me. Her Canuck fan significant other was having a good chuckle though. If I ended a relationship, I apologize. But also, you're welcome.

What’s also funny is that their schedule is not going to really favour them over the next month or so… between now and January 1st, they only play five “bad” teams - and that’s including the ducks as a “bad” team that they play twice who are actually playing better than anyone thought so far.
The rest are either legitimately good teams or they are average teams that have already beaten the oilers this season. This could keep getting worse for the oilers.
That video is amazing, if only that it reminded me that Glen Gulutzan and that space cadet confused look of pure trepidation and uncertainty is with the Oilers. My god, those were some bleak times when he was running the Flames.

Shame on anyone who says we can’t enjoy this or mock the Oilers because the Flames also suck.
We’re fans. We have no bearing on the games. My fandom of the Flames does not invalidate the obviously true statement that Edmonton sucks. I’m going to enjoy the hell out of this.
And even by that logic, the Flames are ahead of the Oilers. So what’s the issue?

It has already been pointed out, but 4 of their 8 regulation losses came against their opponent's backup, including getting shut out by 37 year-old Jonathan Quick.
