If the Flames lose tomorrow, I'm going to blame it squarely on my superstition about early game day threads and NOT the terrible talent or ability to execute NHL level hockey that the team currently possesses.

I must say, i wish I was as excited for the Flames to play as I am to read Cheese's gameday threads. They are the best in the NHL that I've seen.
Personally, I need this team to make up it's mind, be awful, or be good. Its been this way for basically my entire life cheering for this team, and for some reason this season, I just can't pretend to care enough to watch this team unless they are bad enough to get a top 5 pick (or good enough to challenge for the playoffs).
I'd rather watch a bunch of kids struggle and learn and make mistakes and fail, with the hopes that the Flames are on track to rebuild.
As of right now, the only thing worth cheering for is for the UFA's to get lots of points for trade value. Not ideal.
