How any one can wake up in the morning and say "I'm a Chicago Blackhawks fan" and not feel disgusted is beyond me.
I believe the Court system in the US gives a #$%@^.

The NHL didn't do enough with the Hawks but can we stop comparing them to the Sens situation? Apples and oranges.

Their punishment should be 5 years of a flat cap.

Which is almost kind of like a fine in a way.

This organization is so sleazy. I'd be ashamed to wear that jersey if I were a player or a fan.

That's fine, then they can waste time in court and get it overturned. In the mean time, get that franchise away from this awful family.

Calling out the team’s fans is over the top, come on. Fans that have bought tickets and supported the team their whole life have nothing to do with this.

If your point is that a fan should be disgusted and disappointed with what happened, I get it. I don’t think it means they have to change their allegiance.

Whenever these kinds of things happen that transcend the sport (Penn State for example) I’m much more interested in seeing the guilty parties pay a harsh penalty, including those who knew and did nothing. To me that’s not about draft picks.

I don't think they are bad people for being fans of the Blackhawks. I don't understand how they still can be though.

The criminal sanctions should be levied against those who committed crimes.

For covering this up to the detriment of the league and its image, for looking the other way in a manner that put players at risk and for failing to protect the players who were actually harmed, the organization should also be punished by the NHL. Those items of conduct are relevant to hockey operations and warrant hockey operations sanctions.

And yes, comparing the NHL's refusal to impose those sanctions to its eagerness to do so in respect of other franchises is absolutely above board.

Vigilantism from a Canucks fan. Who would have guessed?

It is plausible that all the young guys, including core members of the Blackhawks team, could be victims.

Your best friend assaults your sister, is he still your best friend? Certainly, would not be mine...

NHL giving that organization a slap on the wrist and then gifting them Bedard is ridiculous.

I think it's a bit tough to completley remove the picks, but they should have been picking 32nd with their own pick for like 5 years
