Had a tough time deciding which thread to put this one in. This interviewer talks to people usually about U.S. politics and the results are often hilarious. This may be the stupidest of the stupid. If he’s serious, he believes there must be eight billion suns 50 miles up.

Between this one and the "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" thread? I might have leaned in the other direction but it's a tough call.

Mike Pence has dropped out of the 2024 Presidential race. The GOP's 2024 nomination is Trump's to lose.

When you hold a rally in a pharmacy and get 15 curious people, you know it’s over.

One guy was staring at the floor! I think he was less 'curious' and more "Give me my goddamn arthritis meds and let me get the hell out of here".

I don’t know what it means but as Donald Jr. walks into court a cop (top right) flashes him three fingers. Maybe a W for white power? Or maybe room 300, I’m reading. I don’t know.

My guess is "W" with the three fingers, followed by making a loop with his fingers/hand/wrist after for the "P" in power!

Some attention whore used their phone to record the TV hoping to find something, anything, to post on twitter. Meaning or context be damned, someone will be outraged enough to share the post for those sweet, sweet likes. OMG!

Shameful
I guess fraud isn’t a disqualifying trait for US government anymore
https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/george...ails-1.7015830
A vote to expel Republican lawmaker George Santos from the U.S. House of Representatives failed on Wednesday when fewer than two-thirds of the chamber supported the resolution.
…
But the resolution failed to gain the required two-thirds vote. Supporters could not even gain a simple majority, with the vast majority of Republicans and more than 30 Democrats voting against expelling Santos.
The final vote was 179 for expulsion and 213 against.

While this justification is great, this mindset is the reason Democrats are always behind.

Yeah while it's pretty clear Santos should be expelled, it makes sense that it should be done in the context of a conviction or the results of an official ethics investigation

And the fact that Democrats can look at something against their interest and decide it's the right thing to do is the reason they are the serious adults in the room, and not the petulant children.
