Competition? A 70 yr old blind grandma would be competition for Jake. Dru Brown would be a shoe in vs Jake who is easily the worst starting QB in any Canadian league including whatever qualifies as Pop Warner up here.

Absolutely but there will be other teams interested. The Stamps may have to cut Maier and eat the $100k they owe him or have him renegotiate.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ head coach Orlondo Steinauer revealed that veteran quarterbacks Bo Levi Mitchell and Matthew Shiltz will both play in the upcoming East Semi-Final against the Montreal Alouettes.
“Game plan-wise, you do what you’ve gotta do that week to find a way to win,” Steinauer told the media. “I think lots of times it’s based on the health (of your quarterbacks) and then just the flow of things, how it’s going.”

I hope Mitchell plays well in the semi and helps Tigher-Cat beat the Als, I still have a soft spot for him.

Yeah I would like nothing more than to see Bo in another Grey Cup. It's not like he forced his way out of Calgary or anything. He's been a pretty classy about how everything unfolded in Calgary and it would be nice to see him go out like Burris did.

Well the only way Bo will reach another Grey Cup is if he doesn't play a minute in the playoffs...

He was always classy here and left with a lot of class as well.

LOL. I loved Bo! but man has he digressed. I mean we all wanted him off this team last year for Jake.
I believe we would have won a couple more grey cups if they just gave him a chance over crappy Kevin Glenn and average Drew Tate.
But if Huf can let go of a still in prime Charleston Hughes, I can definitely let go of an over the hill Bo Levi.

He's pretty heated up about it (you can see it on Twitter), but it's pretty tough to have two linebackers from a team that just finished a 6-12 season. I say take that motivation into Saturday's game against the Lions.
