How is John Garrett still on TV? Didn't they retire him a few years ago? Sportsnet is just awful and of course it's just awful Oilers commercials or the 1st intermission debate if McDavid will win the Art Ross this year.. during a ####ing Jets/Rangers game. I wish every game was on TSN regional.

Just a brutal call against the Ducks in their game against Pittsburgh. The Ducks score to go up 3-1 but the ref calls no goal for goalie interference. The replay clearly shows no interference but they say the call on the ice stands. Ducks challenge, lose the challenge so end up a man short. Of course the Ducks coach is livid that the NHL geniuses can’t get the call right after looking at it twice. So then referee Lecuyer gives him two minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct and of course the Penguins score on the ensuing 2 minute 5 on 3.

He's on TV because he's good at what he does.
He was doing colour on Sportsnet for Vancouver regional games up until last year.
Stackhouse and Garrett were excellent and second only to Ball and Hrudey for local crews.
