So he thinks his brother is getting crucified every year?
I'd like to ask him how he thinks pro athletes in the major NA sports leagues deal with expectations. Is there a trend of athletes signing with teams where they can avoid pressure?
I think this quote (would love to see the whole thing) is not as indicative of a trend as you think it is.
Especially for Calgary, a very low pressure environment.

Most of Austin's posts are a desperate attempt to be edgy like that

RAA was the house band. They played a few songs before the game and then during the TV timeouts.

It's an easy quote to find...the they he is talking about is Matthews and Marner (his buddies)
He said it, don't shoot the messenger
Calgary is high pressure vs Florida or basically any US team. NHL is #5 in the US now

Possibly I did? But "bottom 5" vs "non playoff team" are two different things.
Never once did I think that team was bottom 5. I just thought we were pretenders and wished ownership/management would have taken 2018/2019 as proof.
Painfully obvious our guys didn't have that "it factor" needed to win in the post-season.

I didn't hear they sent him down, but we have 8 D with Andersson.
Andersson - Weegar
Hanifin - Tanev
Zadorov - Gilbert
Oesterle - Solovyov
You don't want Solo to be sitting. If another D goes down, or if Gilbert is bad he'll get the callup.

Announced about an hour ago.
I agree we don't want him sitting, but my uninformed eye saw him playing better than Gilbert and Oesterle.

Solovyov was perfectly fine. I was very impressed as a rookie D, didn't see any bad mistakes. That's got to be very difficult.
Tkachuk of all people should know better than to group teams as "Canada". It's not like there is one team there. Calgary is a high pressure place to play? The reporters are pretty much all nice other than Francis who seems to love inventing controversies that don't exist. The fans aren't throwing stuff on the ice. People are respectful out in public.

I'm not shooting the messenger. I'm just saying that one guy's quote does not equal a trend.

When it's your best player who bailed on the team it does
For me

What are you going to do? What’s anyone gonna do?
Nothing. Too bad we didn’t have Looch. He would have pounded Kane into the Commonwealth turf.

If you were allowed to pause for a year or to, I'm sure lots would have taken advantage of that.

Lucic had plenty of chances to fight Kane or any Oiler and never did
