Checo has to be out of a job. He’s not even going to finish 2nd in the WDC.

I've also got to think Russell is disappointed with his season. He beat Hamilton last year, but this year Hamilton is 3rd (and might make second) while he's looking up from 8th.

Fun fact.
If Max finishes 5th or better at the next race he'll lock up the Constructors Championship...by himself....
If Max finishes 5th or better, then literally ANYONE could have been driving that 2nd car and Red Bull still wins the Constructors.

I think Hamilton was having a much poorer season last year and even the first third of this season. It's not just the car, he's back on form as well. Russell just has a tough task with his team mate, kinda like Perez. But he's doing much better.

It's not just Hamilton that's passed him though - last year he finished 4th and this year he's 8th.
Even with his drop Hamilton seems to be back as you noted, so as a team Merc is up to 2nd from 3rd, which kind of makes it hard to argue he has a less competitive car this year.

Mexico GP Results are in!
Congrats to 3thirty who takes top spot this week with 4 slotted and 7 top 10. McCree and FurnaceFace tie for second.
Overall DoubleK is still out front, but his lead was cut by 6pts and is down to 12 over bizaro86. Bizaro86 remains in 2nd but his lead over McCree is down to 2pts.
There's only 3 races left! Brazil is this weekend.
For prizes this year, was thinking this...I think these were well received last year. Happy to work with the winners if they find something that they like...if they're not in Calgary we can coordinate delivery as well.
