Cup isn't the only way I find enjoyment.

Literally anything above complete and total incompetence is the goal. Flames are missing the mark.

If they can't show some emotion with the season pretty much already on the line and going against Edmonton, then they'll never do it. Kick these bums in the nuts.

The battle of the bottom feeders. Will the Oilers get their second win? Or will the Flames get their third? Who cares? Oh, err, I mean this is the heritage classic, so it is important. A heritage of losing? Don't forget to shell out for the merch.

I think the terrible starts for both teams makes this game even more interesting. 2 Desperate teams that do not want to lose (even more than normal)

Obviously this isn't the big marquee game that the league was probably hoping it would be when they initially planned it, so look for the lemmings at SN to pump McLotteryball's tires every 30 seconds. It's the only thing they have in terms of marketing this disappointing spectacle between two bottom feeders.

Lol, was there any doubt? This is the Oilers' Stanley Cup. He was always going to be playing.

And one team will become the laughing stock of Canada in front of a national audience, and it's players scorned/shamed by its media.

Interesting stakes indeed.

Good thing it came when it did to keep me watching this team because if it was a normal schedule I'd probably have tuned out. This game provides some storylines at least.

McDavid was probably heavily pressured to suit up for this one. Could put him at risk of re-injury.

Not true. Sportsnet Crew will have every possible excuse ready if Edmonton loses, and all the post game discussions will be about Edmonton/McDavid regardless of the outcome.

Not sure I have ever been so disinterested in a game in decades. Both teams are pretty unlikable for a variety of reason and add in the miraculous return of mcdavid it will be over the top annoying.
