Sorry, I don't find it funny at all!

Mocking people for their disabilities is not a laughing matter

Still find it offensive. If I had a disability like that I sure as hell wouldn't go around degrading myself.

I honestly didn't even crack a smile watching this, I never find crap like this funny regardless of the context (and it has nothing to do with being offended, it's simply not very funny).

On eof the associated videos on you tube was Lena Anderson "My boobs are okay". That was a pretty good video.

Well they were laughing at themselves, which is pretty admirable in my book. I think they got their message across of the problems they face too. Made me think and count my blessings.

Some people are saying this is offensive against disabilities? How about gay's? They clearly made fun of them in one of their songs.... how dare they eh?

oh please, some of the blowhards in here need to relax. what exactly do you want people with dissabilities to do, shudup and be quiet, so they can fall into a depression like the majority? If some people can get past their ailments and have fun with this in life, the least you can do is let them.

He is a comedian, sheesh if Chris Rock makes jokes about black people, and Jewish comedians make jokes about being Jewish, and Ron James makes jokes about being from Newfoundland, then WHY is it wrong for a crippled comedian to make fun of his condition? Better then moping around.

Isn't a lot of humour self depricating humour or humour based on differences between sets of people? Don't comedians like Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy use humour specific to the African American or what about mr. "You might be a redneck if ____" or Dave Berry who frequently makes fun of men?

I can see not finding it funny, but I'm not sure one can be outraged by this unless you are part of the same "set" of people. As far as I know the only person on the site who could be outraged is FG...and something tells me he won't be.

EDIT: what Stang said.

Put me in the not offensive, but also not funny camp.

It was an obvious attempt at comedy though. I don't see how anyone could mistake it for something real.

Ron James is from my grandfather's home town Glace Bay, NS . . . he's from Cape Breton (like me) not Newfoundland

Shaun Majumder's from the Rock though

Edit: I also make fun of the fact I'm skinny, wear glasses, single, and well whatever other flaw I might have. If you can't laugh at yourself, then you're taking like too seriously.

That said I thought the A-Ha part was funny, the rest didn't do it for me. Not because of the wheelchair stuff, I just didn't find it funny.

Blowhard? I volunteer alot of my time with the Special Olympics and I know those kids and young adults would not be impressed with that video. They are happiest group of people you'll ever meet. What I haven't seen is those kids and young adults do is joke about their disabilities - they get enough of it from the ignorant masses of the world.

Sure they got their problems acroos. Where we will agree to disagree is on weather it's funny or not.

To me it makes no difference weather they are physically or mentaly disabled. They both have their own unique set of problems, and are both mocked and made fun of in daily life. I often hear them talk about it and it hurts them deeply. Frankly I have great admiration for them due to the abuse they face.
