Weird that you consider that a group of successful developed players.
Well, they did develop into successful replacement level players.

Klefbolm is the only legit one IMO. Jury is still out on Skinner. Others are meh.

Was he though ? He played as long at a good level as Kylington did. One season. That’s really it. Not sure he counts either.

It's a killer list, few guys who are in the AHL and Desharnais, who is 27 years old with zero NHL goals and an incredible 41 games played.

Live practice. McDavid does not look comfortable turning at all.

Guys, think of the positives!

What bad could come from rushing a player back from injury for a regular season game?

This could really springboard their season! Or, more likely....

He's fair game if he plays. But we know if the Flames hit him in any way, people will complain.

Oh now it’s just all star players? Skinner was an all star just last year.
.
Skinner was an all-star because of a fan vote. And if there's one thing Oilers fans are good at, it's coming out in droves for online polls. They literally hung a banner for a fan vote.

I think it's hilarious that is the list you can come up with. How many years does that cover? Seems like it covers 13 years. And thats the list? Oof.

So on HNIC just now “he’s playin” per Ron Mac.
We’re we ever honestly convinced he was going to miss it?

Going to be a “story” or resilience coming back early and giving his all etc etc. just watch

Of course not. Because its an incredibly important, super-huge mammoth-sized game!

Whatever they tell you, its for the Cup! Whatever they say, its not just a regular season game in October thats only worth 2 points!! Thats what Bill Gates and the Bilderburgers want you to think!

Its totally worth rushing a guy back from (an albeit seemingly minor) injury!

Well I was already leery of watching this game due to the guaranteed Oiler's knob slobbering, but with McAvi back I am 100% gonna skip it and catch the highlights (If the Flames win) afterwards.

Yeah the broadcast will be completely insufferable, and the intermissions tonight will kick all that off.

SNet and league pressure to have a top player play is certainly a thing, so him putting his health on the line (and the Oilers Dr Nick Riviera allowing him to play) for this carnival game, means that he gets an extra dosing of airtime and love for his sacrifice.

I was maybe gonna skip this game, but now I'm definitely not going to watch. The McDavid/Oiler circle jerk is gonna be off the charts insufferable.

We should all make bets. I'm talking from when the broadcast starts, pregame and all, the game itself, intermission broadcasts and post-game.

We start a betting pool. I'm going to say...McDavid will be mentioned...I dont know, 120 times.
Now what are we thinking? 200+?
