Huberdeau & Kadri were probably the reason Sutter turned so sour on everyone last season.
Could you blame that 100% work-ethic/no-BS mindset when it comes to those $17.5M worth of prima donnas?
Sutter was the only lifeline of integrity remaining on the team.

Well that's the first game I've got to watch this year. Lindholm Huberdeau, invisible. Kadri visible in a bad way.
When Tanev is your best rushing defenseman you're in trouble. Tanev, Zadarov, Greer, Mangipane, Cornato had some drive. Solovyov played well for his first game and markstrom kept it from a blowout. Dube seems to fan alot and many shots from bad angles.. Hard to watch that kind of effort.

The only positive is that we haven’t locked up Hanifin and Lindholm to this god awful core for the next 8 years.

Instead we have Lindholm who looks like he can’t wait to leave town and a captain who’s a hell of a nice guy but can’t lead the team.

We've got a really good chance of starting the season 2-7-1. That's genuinely exciting, because it ought to bring the organization closer to the realization of what they actually are and have been for over a year.
