I have no idea how they could justify extend linholm to that now. You cant have your 3 highest paid players and 3 top 6 forwards have 0 chemistry.

Markstrom is making some big saves. He does look a bit more confident than last year. But the save % is really all that matters and he was 30th in save % coming into this game, and is at 84.6% as I write this.

He hasn't been a solution the last 2 seasons either. So he's just an average goalie paid like a star. Career stats check out. Another Treliving overpay.

They shouldn't extend anyone anymore. The team is broken, especially those three. How can they not get anything going? That's 26.5 million tied to three players if Lindholm gets his contract.

Grade A scoring chances are being fed to Markstrom, regularly.
Quality of chances against is being ignored in your appraisal.

It’s about about 80 games since we’ve seen 10/91/28 resembling anything close to top line talent. If they’re not right, this is a bottom 10 NHL roster.
Huska? No. This is a bad mix of uninspired talent.
