Anything longer than 2 years for Tanev would be crazy. He’ll be turning 35 two months into his new contract next season.
Only way I see lack of term being offensive is if they tried to sign him to a 4 month extension

What would tanev fetch at the TDL with retained salary?is he worth another 2 years or better to get something to move forward. This team is not going anywhere sadly to say

That Dave guy on twitter seems like the twitter version of Sec214. Clearly has a connection to the team and posts some inside stuff. That Dave guy seems to have a connection to Vladar at least but we will see if he is legit. That said the way Friedman has talked this Hanifin deal was a matter of time after headlines on Saturday

I think at this point the Flames shouldn't make any decisions based on Kylington, except to assume he's not coming back. If he does, and he's good as he was before, then it's gravy. But you can't count on that anymore imo.

If you actually followed him he does have connections to the team. Prior to this, he said a 2-year deal for Backlund was in the works, 4 days before it was announced so even before rasta broke the news here. I dont get why people get so pissy about insiders.
