My favorite complaint is for playing Son as a striker where he has 7 goals in 9 games and is second in the EPL.
What an idiot to play him as a striker.

Who said idiot?
Son is talented so he can fill in there, but it isn't his natural position and wasn't the plan. We did it because Paratici who we are building a statue for failed to bring in any quality striker in his 3+ years at the club.
Plus moving Son over to striker has meant that we are now short any quality at LW.
Is reading and understanding context that hard for people?

How many trophies does the club get for that?

At this point I’m just convinced he’s an Arsenal fan. No one else would bring up the “but how many trophies?!??!” argument at this point.

LOL
He doesn't massively overrate Spurs and celebrate top of the table after 9 games so he must be Arsenal.
Such a weak and pathetic claim but not surprising at all. Spurs is a fanbase that cannot handle any criticism of it at all especially from people within that aren't 100% deluded.

nah you're not Arsenal, you're just a wet blanket. Imagine selling your best player and face of the last decade, only to then be top of the league after 9 games with a new coach - and still moaning 24/7 and spoiling the fans' enjoyment of such an unexpectedly great start to the season. All while having the nerve to actually choose "Spurs" as your username lol. Seriously, give your head a shake.

I'm not moaning 24/7 why make that up?
I have rarely posted in here and reacted to a post that said we should build a statue to Paratici. That is not spoiling any enjoyment it is rightfully pointing out a ridiculous over the top comment that is all too common from the Spurs fanbase.

No one has a problem with criticism here
None of the spurs fans in here are delusional
But if you cant enjoy the good times while they are happening what is the point of watching?
Why are you a spurs fan? Genuinely would like to know, because for your own enjoyment I highly recommend switching to man city or maybe psg

You keep saying we are delusional too
I guarantee none of us think we win the league
Expectations have gone from, implement postecoglus pressing system and hopefully be competitive for a european place, maybe an outside chance at 5th
To we should finish 3rd or more likely 4th, based as much on chelsea and united struggling as on how well spurs have played

Who said I can't enjoy any good times? I can enjoy individual games while maintaining a level head about what the team actually is. There isn't anything wrong with seeing the clear as days holes this team has and the fact they have won solely on luck and reffing not any quality.
I am a Spurs fan because I have supported the club since 1992. Why would I randomly jump to support another club? That makes no sense.
As usual I am puzzled by fans that think you can only be a fan of a team by being a delusional homer.

What kind of sports fan doesn’t enjoy when their team does well? Like, what’s the point?
I’m not under any delusions that we’re winning the league, but I’m happy we’re doing well and have had a great start to the season. And some of these players are absolutely worthy of praise. Vicario has been immense. Sarr has looked great, Maddison probably the buy of the entire summer across the league, and the list goes on. Other players look rejuvenated under Postecoglou. It’s an enormous difference from where we were last season and you’d have to be blind to gloss over that.

Again who isn't enjoying the team doing well?
It isn't an enormous difference from where we were last year, at least not under the start with Conte. After Conte left yes it is different from that disaster.

Makes sense now

It's a massive difference, under conte at the start of last year the results were ok, but they were lucky
By this point had already gotten well beaen by arsenal, united, and newcastle in October
The difference this year is night and day in how the club feels, an actual future with an extremely young team
Its in the style of play, doing it without kane, deserving these results while also seeing areas that can be cleaned up, a manager who genuinely wants to be there and isnt complaining about the club every press conference
The celtic players are still quoting postecoglu even after he left, hes been a 10/10 hire and your complaining about him is so reminiscent of "he has no experience in english football, hes come from ....japan" its ridiculous

Again just more flat out BS.
The wins this year have been the result of pure luck and reffing. The only difference was last year we did not get that luck or the refs handing us free points.
There is the exact same lack of future. There isn't any top players at this club outside of Son who is 30. There isn't quality youth that is growing into anything going forward.
Conte is a manager who has repeatedly won at the highest level. Ange has never even been at those levels despite being around soccer for 20+ years, this isn't because he didn't get a break its because there was no reason for him to be there. Loser Celtic players quoting him is meaningless.
You are right the delusional morons in our fanbase want to pretend the atmosphere is different, want to pretend that this club will win with a sub-par manager and sub-par players. Something that never happens in any sport.

Yeah, it’s basically the exact same as a year ago:
- 1st in shots
- 1st in shots on target
- most touches in opposition box
- most passes in final third
- most take ons attempted
- most ground duels won
I mean it’s spitting image to what we saw under Conte.

Who said it was exactly the same?
The key pieces are still the same- a team that isn't good enough relying on luck (although not nearly as much as this year) now they get the reffing to go along with it.
Neither team was one of the top teams in the league, the team last year relying on a great manager and great player keeping them above their level, this year it is luck, refffing and a great player keeping them above their level.
Neither team showing any signs that it will last or that it is sustainable.
