Based on that, the south seeing rain and north seeing snow at this point makes sense?

The north sucks purely because of its proximity to Edmonton.
It's reflected in poorer weather and higher criminal activity. There's probably more crazies too.

That's part of the reason I don't like the north end of the city and despise Airdrie, closer to disgusting Edmonton.

So the north gets drinking water from Cochrane? Where does the South get their drinking water? From fecal Lake Bonvista? lol

Glenmore Reservoir for the south, Bow River at Bearspaw for the north. But the two systems are still connected anyway

Scraping ice off the windows multiple times sucked. I wished I could just go back to sleep and rest the entire day.

No snow in Vegas. Well not the kind that Calgary is currently experiencing...

We're doing pretty OK so far. Aside from bridges, nothing snow wise is sticking here.. yet.
Leads me to think the accumulation won't be much when all is said and done.

Driving from one heated garage to another pretty much where ever I'm going during the day is a beautiful thing.

The East Village Real Canadian Superstore does.
Although I'm usually a Midtown Co-op guy and it's SO close I can see it from my living room, so yeah, I will brave the cold for a whopping 30 seconds in their outdoor parking lot. For how long my grocery shopping takes, the vehicle doesn't even get a chance to cool down. But if we get any especially stupid cold-snaps, I will happily go to the EV Superstore.

New rule: nobody is allowed to bitch about getting into a cold car if they don't bother spending the 1% of their car's value to buy a remote starter. It's 2023. You literally never have to get into a cold car if you don't want to.

Do cars come without remote starters still?
I mean that seems hard to fathom, what next hand cranked windows
