People walking out of i) The Book of Mormon and ii) The South Park Movie are clearly morons of the highest order if they didn't have even an inkling of what they were going to see.
Yeah, even the Mormon Church has come to accept Book of Mormon. They actually run a funny ad in the programme for the play. Although, I could see people getting offended by the content.
I’ve never wanted to walk out of a theatre movie. We go rarely so make sure it’s something we know we’ll like. It’s easier with sites like IMDB. We have abandoned numerous tv or streamed films.
I was discussing this same topic tonight with a buddy as we grabbed lunch today, and neither of us have ever left a movie, however he reminded me that back in university, the Skeleton Key was so bad, that I went full Lauren Boebert on him. Whoops.

You cut his dick off? I mean...bad movies are one thing but come on man, show some goddamned restraint!

So what did the mayor have to say?

I couldn't walk out because it was on an airplane, but there was a movie last year called Fall that I ended up hate watching until the end. It started ok, but quickly turned to annoying and had me actively rooting against the characters. Reviews and critic scores aren't terrible so maybe it was just me.
I watched it on the plane too. Definitely only a plane movie where you’re trying to just put in time.
The movie I wanted to walk out of was Hail Caesar! Such a good cast but a massive dud for all 5 of us who went. I kept waiting for it to turn good and it just dug deeper. The scene where Leo is being told his lines, and repeats it over and over still haunts me.
