Lindholm has shown he's a good complimentary player who can't carry a line. He would be a bad signing at that price.

We need NHL defenceman and Zadorovs play is showing why he hasn't been given a extension.

Imagine signing him over Hanifin.

There is no one on the roster capable of replacing his minutes. If the goal is to bottom out then trade him, if it’s to remain competitive keep him. Solid top 4 guy and no issue with retaining him long term at all

We aren't rebuilding once people realize that it will be easier to understand why they are singing these guys.

I'd rather sign a 26 year old smooth skating defenceman who can log big minutes instead of going into free agency and singing a 30 year old and listen to the crying about how bad the contract is.

By this logic every bad or mediocre team should get rid off all their players
