Hopefully Trudeau stays out of it, he has very little say anyways, give the file to one of the smarter cabinet ministers.
The only thing more unpopular than a APP is Justin freaking Trudeau.

Trudeau coming out strong in favour of Alberta staying in CPP is probably one of the only things that could switch public opinion in favour of an APP.

I don't actually disagree, but man is the public ever dumb.

I think that’s true, but I also think that Polievre is going to hate this. As a guy who hopes to be the next PM he can’t exactly come out pro-Alberta thinking they’ll just take half of the CPP assets.

Have any reporters asked Pierre's thoughts on this transfer amount?

I'm sure he'll come out with a video soon comparing pensions to lumber.

I wonder if that's Trudeau's strategy here. It isn't a winning issue for PP., so if he helps blow it up nationally that helps him.

"I encourage Albertans to stay in the CPP," Poilievre said, adding he will "protect and secure the CPP for Albertans and all Canadians" by being a fair prime minister that lets Alberta "develop its resources to secure our future."

Pierre smart enough to read the tea leaves on this one. Any votes he loses in Alberta on this don't matter on seat count. And he avoids alienating the rest of Canada. This was obviously a very easy decision.
Probably puts posters like Yoho in a tough spot!

""The division today on the CPP is entirely the result of Justin Trudeau attacking the Alberta economy," Poilievre said in a statement. "
The guy is really just a contrarian ####

Blaming the APP/CPP issues on Trudeau shows he's just a petulant prick, as usual. He just knows how to play the campaign game.
I still fail to see leadership and intelligence.
