I actually think that both Hanifin and Weegar can make plays from the blueline. Hanifin has 4 assists this season for a reason. Zadorov doesn't make as many plays, but he can lead a rush in transition, and he can shoot the puck if his teammates find him with the puck.

Awful timing on that pull. Massive pet peeve of mine. Pull when you have full possession.

Why would you not wait until we had possession before calling him to the bench?!

I'd wondered if Markstrom had even made it to the bench at that goal...he hadn't. He had one leg over the boards

What a joke Huberdufus just stands there and does not even try to compete for the puck and poof not even a chance with the goalie pulled.

Fair enough.

For me Hanifin can make plays but so often doesn't make the simple offensive play. He looks awkward to me in an offensive situation. Weegar who knows, Sutter never gave him a chance and Huska doesn't seem keen on it either.

Hanifin lacks a threatening shot, and his offensive motor seems really slow.

God this team is frustrating!! They have any empty net to score on for 2 minutes last night and couldn’t hit it. They pull their goalie tonight and 10 seconds later the puck is in our net.

Lol Flames miss like 5 open nets yesterday. BJs score on their first try today.

Embarrassing battle effort by Huberdeau with an extra attacker. Absolutely terrible… complete joke. He’s got his money, doesn’t give two ####s

Boooo!

Oh well. Pretty good push at the end there, and I like the way the team is playing. Clearly this is still a work in progress, but I think it'll come. 2-2-1 to start the season is still better than I anticipated.
