I like it. Just swap Dube with Sharangovich.

Essentially...

- Coronato on the top unit and Backlund not taking faceoffs on the second unit (but also providing QB and D support for Hanifin)
- Huberdeau up with Andersson gives us two QB options.
- Lindholm high in the center slot, Ruzica down low for deflections, traffic and rebounds and Coronato in Ovie's office ready to clap
I could be wrong but isn't Backlund's faceoff percentage significantly better than Kadri's?

5v5 Backlund is 3.5% better, but Backs is only 36% on the PP. There's also the added benefit of Backlund helping out Hanifin.

(4 games is an unrealistic benchmark to be using for this stuff, but flexibility and responding faster to stat trends could mitigate slumps or capitalize on spikes)

Just saw Martin gets the start for the Jackets. Elvis was announced earlier, he must not be fully healed up yet.

Martin is horrible, can't lose this one and have one of those games where we make a backup look like Hasek. I know its happening but i dont see it happening today.

#Flames lines tonight vs. the Blue Jackets.

Huberdeau–Lindholm–Mangiapane
Ruzicka-Kadri-Dube
Coleman-Backlund-Coronato
Greer-Sharangovich-Duehr

Hanifin-Andersson
Zadorov-Weegar
Gilbert-Tanev

Markstrom makes 4th start of the season.

You only have to look at the map. The biggest cities in Ohio are Cincinnati, made up of people trying to escape into Kentucky, and Cleveland, made up of lemmings trying to drown in Lake Erie.

Then there's Columbus, which is so far from any state line that people just give up and live with the despair.

Pretty sure Ohio was named after the surprise people feel there when they see a new face, followed by the realization they're not actually stopping.

"Oh, hi! ...oh..."

Team has a glaring lack of skill on the PP….concerning. Never seen so many incomplete plays as off Huberdeau’s stick on the PP

Why would Hanifin abandon his side of the ice on that goal? So clearly the wrong play. That's like a peewee mistake.
