On one hand I thought Yegor was very, very good. It makes me want to see him get more PT and move up a line or two.
However at the same time he helped make our 4th line one of the better ones all night. Having that talent spread throughout all 4 lines is incredible.
Good for him for making this a tough decision for the staff.

4C is a seriously underrated position. Remember how people complained about Derek Ryan because he was ‘only’ an overpaid 4th-line centre? Yet he made that line look pretty good while he was here.
I'm starting to get a similar vibe from Sharangovich.

I love Zadorov so much. Squarely speaking physicality, he's easily the meanest checking defenseman we've had since Dion and I think Z is way more positionally sound in his own end. Keep him around for a few years Conny.

Nope.
When the Eichel trade happened I had said I didn't think Krebs was any better than Pelletier or maybe even Zary and still think that now

Weegar. A dump in from his blueline that Levi misplayed terribly. He was signaling for an icing then seemed to realize late it was going to be on net and had his toe back in the goal.
It was definitely over the line, so of course it was ruled inconclusive.

Was it?
I actually don't think it fully crossed but maybe you saw better angles than I did.

I thought Weegar was trying to pass it to Lindholm who missed the pass, then it rolled all the way on net and who knows what Levi was doing. It seemed like one of those ones where it had to be in but there was no angle that clearly showed it.

Sharangovich had looked pretty good at centre. Big, skates well, can carry the puck with speed, haven’t seen the shot but we know it’s there.
The more comfortable he gets at centre, I wonder if he might not be the ideal centre for Huberdeau, cause it doesn’t look like Lindholm or Kadri have that right chemistry.
