Not exactly a Picasso of a period. Very sloppy. Too bad Vladar didn't bring his A game tonight because the Sabres do not look great. This game shouldn't be tied.
Alas, it is with lots of time left. Still really like the 4th line, Sharangovich playing his best game as a Flame so far.

Sabres look fast, but also sloppy. The flames are kinda starting to play to their level. They need to clean it up and control the play. Vladar doesn't look ready.

Would have been a perfect showcase game for the Flames had he been able to have a decent game, especially in contrast with the goalie across the ice.

I haven’t minded Markstrom minus the weakness between glove and body which is well known.
He’s at least communicating on the ice this season.

Kadri, made a nice rush to the net on the first PP to get at a loose puck and get a chance on net. Then on the same PP he skated back off the Hubie TO and irritated the shooter enough for him to shoot way over. He also drew a penalty with some nice puck protecting in the neutral zone.
What did he do that was so bad? Missed the net on the PP? Every player in the history of the league has done that.
As mentioned before, the Kadri hate is ridiculous!

People can talk #### about Huby all they want. He hasn’t been great. But at least he’s been producing at a point a game pace so far. Kadri’s just been brutal. No points, can’t hit the net, holds onto the puck too long. Just awful
