Nah, financial advisors are good to meet with and it's always good news (unless you have the wrong one?)

What if medical professionals say, "Wait and see."?

Because I just got into a squabble with someone who was like this. My opinion is just do it.

I take advice from the medical pros but would not from my own doc. It’s not that I don’t trust my doc but some are antivaxxers so one person’s opinion isn’t my go to. I’d decide based on what the chief medical docs in Alberta, Canada, other provinces and the U.S. say.

Tested positive for COVID today. Was not feeling good last night and decided to work from home today, glad I did. Hasn't been too bad but have a very achey back and awful congestion.

I hear so many opinions of the covid vaccine, each with their warnings about what the other side is saying. Who the hell do you trust nowadays? Conspiracy theories? The government? I feel so torn, as I'm late 40's, and have been told to sit down, shut up, and do as you're told all my life. Now people are free to choose, and I think sometimes I'm that little boy just doing as I'm told, blindly trusting a government who has quite frankly sickened and disgusted me in many of their dealings. But the alternative sucks too. So much to ponder. So much information mixed with disinformation. Who is right?
So I'm a good boy and I sit down, shut up, and take my medicine. All the while wondering...

What a world...
Do you have a couple of examples of things the government has done that have sickened and disgusted you?

Back pain, from mild to severe, is apparently a hallmark of whatever strain is going around right now. It was very mild for me, but my daughter's was severe, along with kidney pain and leg pain - so severe that she asked to go to hospital, which is rare, she hates the hospital. But, because of her metabolic disorder and how it can react to illness, there were things it was imperative to rule out. We didnt know about this particular symptom until the doc at the hospital told us about it.

Thankfully, we had an ER doc that knew a bit about her metabolic disorder and what he needed to rule out, to be sure it was just this symptom and not her metabolic disorder whacking out.

Hope you feel better soon. My case was very mild, hopefully yours will be as well.

You can quite safely get the COVID shot as soon as you feel better, but as your risk of getting sick in the next 3-6 months is low and immunity is better if you do wait, it may be wise to wait

Are both flu and covid booster more prone to sore arms this year? Or did I get someone with crappy technique?

Its the 'Bill Gates additive' now that he controls the World Economic Forum and adopted the Bilderburgers and he is always so busy installing 5G and then he spends his off time flying around to generate chemtrails.

Oh. Right. He probably put evil chemicals in the vaccines too, so they hurt. Just for the lulz.

That bastard.

I meet him once for beers and tell him all the insane crap I'd do if I were 'Gates Rich' and he steals them all! Damned jerkface is what he is.

Technique is unlikely to cause more of a sore arm. Unless someone put the needle in and wiggled it around for a while the sore arm is due to inflammation from the shot

Despite the science, this MLA is getting ridicule for getting the COVID and flu shots. There are supportive comments, as well. My wife and I are getting our today.

Flu no, but I had an appointment with my doctor this morning and she mentioned that the COVID booster this year is particularly bad for PIP (post-injection pain).

I won’t tell my wife that. I’ve never had any pain or symptoms from a needle but she suffers for a couple of days.

The initial Moderna covid vaccine was 0.5ml. All the boosters have been 0.25ml. This new one is back to 0.5ml so I presume the extra fluid causes more pain.

Yeah...pain I dont mind, I can tolerate pain easily enough, its the flu-like symptoms that really suck.

I got my covid booster on Tuesday afternoon and I finally feel normal again. Tuesday night was tough. I had chills and pain throughout my body. Yesterday I felt off all day but it was manageable.

Not necessarily, it can be due to saturation of active ingredient to carrier, (eg: 10mg/ml of carrier versus 20mg/ml of carrier) a higher saturation can cause a greater immune response which will result in more pain at the site. Different types of carrier fluid such as bacteriostatic water, and various oil and solvent combinations can be used depending on the particular medication. Certain people react differently to what carrier oil is used.

Fluid volume on its own isn't necessarily a reliable indicator.

For me...its non-negotiable. I admit, I game it a bit by not getting it until Jan/Feb, but thats because prior to that I hardly see anyone other than family and once February hits and Tax Season starts literally hundreds to thousands of people go through my office in 3 months.

Thats when I need my flu shot at its highest efficiency.

And people bitch about co-workers coming to work sick? You havent the faintest idea how many people take a 'sick day' off work and figure..."this is an ideal time to see my accountant and get my taxes done! I have the day off!"

Despite being sick as hell.
The ol' death and taxes schtick.
