After yesterday's schedule I wasn't sure the NHL knew how to stagger game start times. Thank goodness they did it today!

So, I think on Saturday there was some discussion around the league about whether or not the Canucks getting outshot by the Oilers 14-3 in the third period of that game and 41-16 overall was a result of them hunkering down to play defense and keep the chances to the outside, and that's how they play if they're protecting a lead... or if they just... you know, really suck.

Well, they just got outshot by the lowly Philadelphia Flyers 23-2 in the second period. While trailing.

Brutal power play by the Habs and excellent penalty killing by the Wild! The Wild score a pair of shorthanded goals 26 seconds apart midway through the first period.

What would that have to do with the Habs' penalty killers?

And like clockwork, Nashville taking it to the oilers and out shooting the 4-1 and yet against the play the Oilers end up with the first powerplay.

Oilers score the only way they can, with an assist from the officials.
