Played pretty well, deserved better. So many opportunities in the 3rd, you simply need to score on at least one of them.
Backlund open net on the PK
Coleman penalty shot
Power plays
..........you have to bury one of those. That Sharangovich shot in the shootout was unreal, what a release. Too bad it didn't go in. His crossbar and Kadri's post go in and there's your extra point.
Fun game though. Definitely not boring.

I was only 11-12 years old when Tanguay played on the team but I am incorrect in saying Huberdeau is like a carbon copy of him? Definitely not the player the Flames thought they were getting.

Easily the best effort of the season so far, but the forward lines are still wonky chemistry wise.
Kadri needs to turn up his GAF meter because he was floating all over the place tonight.
I like Sharangovich's game and not sure why he's been relegated to the 4th line. Showed his great release in the shootout.

A few thoughts. The 1 weak goal a game by Markstrom has to be resolved, it cost us a win tonight. My dog could have stopped that second goal and she is lazy as hell. Kadri is a fn idiot, full stop. He is the definition of a skill player with the hockey IQ of a dead guppy. I was strongly opposed to hiring Huska as coach and he has done nothing to change my mind about him so far. Let's be honest here, the Flames have a veteran team they want to try and win now with and then they go and dumpster dive for a coach instead of bringing in a guy who was more suited to coaching this team. Huska talks a good game, that's it. His line combos are for crap. It might be a long long year, I hope all these guys prove me wrong.
