30th place in xGF60 five on five.
Huge concern.
Happy they filled the net against Winnipeg, and hopefully it's a sign that they can create higher danger volume, but scoring will always be a concern this season if I was to guess.

Beaten too it but yeah....a Cheese like effort brings in a "W " and gives the Flames the split I wanna see SO FAR on the first roadie of the year.
Winning on the first Road trip brings the fellas together and all I ask is 60 minutes ....60 full minutes.
I liked what Greer said. Let's play in they're zone , get behind them and keep it deep where they don't want us to be.
That'll mean skating hard, forechecking and responsible backchecking by our forwards . Gotta get these early points .
Go Flames

And that's with the goalie playing well, by all accounts.
Says a lot about the volume & difficulty of chances the team is giving up when 3.5 GA/G is what they're surrendering with the goalie standing on his head.
Hopefully time together on this trip helps with ironing out some of the sloppiness.

The Calgary Flames have added a classy touch to the back of their helmets in tribute to the late Chris Snow.

Milano and Phillips on the same line tonight. You just know that line will do damage tonight, because of they would.

Hopefully Backs and Kadri get going tonight. Kadri has been a black hole, those numbers are ugly.

Hopefully not. I’m just jaded when it comes to these things.

I wasn’t saying the Flames will lose. Just not surprised if one of those two score tonight. Hopefully they’re both invisible.

Not at all concerned about Pipsqueak Phillips. A non-factor.

Coronato needs to fight Phillips to make the line complete.

My guess it is a close game, 2-1 Flames in regulation time.
