There were 2 SHUTOUTS on the OOT. Saros made 23 saves in the Predators 3-0 victory over the Kraken. It was the first win for Barry Trotz as being the manager and the 1st win for Coach Andrew Brunette who is an original Predator and scored the team's 1st goal 25 years ago.

The Wild won 2-0 with Gustavsson stopping all 41 shots. Eriksson Ek gets 2 points (1g, 1a).

I'll say it again - EVERYTHING was going in for them last year, and that tends to ebb and flow from year to year. I think things are going to be a little harder to come by this year, and they are going to struggle as a result. In a division with 6 teams that could make the playoffs (if you include VAN), they are going to be in tough, IMO.

290 goals for but they also had just as bad or even worse goaltending as us.

I just don't see them scoring that much again, they don't have that star player.

I think the goaltending probably bounces back a bit but if they can't score they will be in tough to make it.

I think the 2nd seed in the Pacific is wide open don't care what the media says about Edmonton.
