I was watching the interview before I got to your post and I was going to say the same thing.
He usually doesnt look this haggard and worn until after the ASG.
He looks like he's been living on the street.

Memo to NHL teams: When opportunity avails itself, ALWAYS run up the score on these clowns. No mercy. Ever.

If they have no success, I don't see any world where McDavid isn't packing up his soulless mansion in anticipation of free agency
I don't see why someone with every option under the sun would continue subjecting themselves to that collection of passive agressive manbabies after each loss.

I’m thinking $20 mil/yr will do it. Katz will pay it as well. He needs to sell 97 t shirts in Sobeys.

Looks like the Oilers solved their goaltending issues.
If they didn’t get 4 or 5 powerplays a game they’d probably never win.
Vancouver might have their shot together. That would make the division a lot more interesting.

If you didn't know any better, you'd think they just lost game 7 of the Cup final from listening to that. What a bunch of clowns.

McDavid is a terrible interview, no doubt. And a baby. But I don't know how one could watch that video and not know that Edmonton's media is bottom of the barrel level sludge quality.

I think there's a legitimate nightmare in here wherein you're a hockey player in a meaningless game coming off a minor loss and you're confronted by 6 Eric Francis' repeating a lightly modified form of the same question over and over in front of you.
Sounds like hell.

What McDavid doesn't talk about when whining about the top PP being out in a 6 - 1 game is that the penalty was him, Drysaddle and Nurse taking runs at Pettersson. If you're going to target the team's top players, expect the team's top players to be present on the power play you give.
Edit - Also some of you are acting shocked about more people being up about the Oilers getting demolished. You must be new. Calgarypuck is fueled by schadenfreude. It always has been. If there was a trade off of the Flames can never win the cup again but the Oilers will aways finish in 9th place, many people would take it.

Some of the questions from the reporters (Spectre) sounded like the Oilers had personally let them down.

McDavid crying about another team using PP1 too much is something else lol
They were playing McDavid and Drai together in the preseason against AHL lineups

Well that's easy to say because no one realistically expects the Flames to have a sniff of a chance at winning the whole thing for the foreseeable future.
So duh.
But if the Flames began to look like they could take a swing at another cup, people would sacrifice the Oilers seeing playoffs for the potential of glory.
Also Vancouver is No Good. 43 years and cup-less! Edit: 53*

That's why I'm relieved the Flames pulled one out of the fire to start, even if on the back of Markstrom.
Those few days after an opening game loss in any canadian city is an emotional rollercoaster.
So yes. Edmonton getting to stew in 3 days of drama and growing insecurity is delicious.
