A lot of bands benefited from that. Although Nickleback was huge world wide, especially in the U.S. I don't know if it was to the same extent, but I took a trip down there around the time Nickleback was peaking, and they were constantly on the radio it seemed.

Nailed it, mostly. Flames will wear Blasty against Edmonton on April 6 but it'll otherwise be the outdoor jerseys for their other three matchups:

The nice part about them is that because they are using them for more than the HC, that orange and blue Oilers logo theyve used as the HC logo, isn't automatically on the jerseys like last HC ones have been for sale.
Saw the jersey up close today, looks good, as do the details around the name and numbers. Not a surprise in that regard that it's not a simple job for the local shop to do it.
Just wish they would've taken a step out of the box with the logo with something other than the C. Also could've been an opportunity for the Flames to debut an alternate logo.

Neil Young left Canada for the money, like most Canadians with the talent to make it in the U.S.

True… but I'd pay extra to hear it sung by almost anyone else. He's an awful vocalist.

Well, it's more in line with kissing the bums of the correct people. Nobody is going to deny me gigs because I have the wrong opinion of their personal idols.
A lot of people in the arts – not just in music – have big reputations basically because they have big reputations. A lot of people are parading around wearing the Emperor's New Clothes, and nobody in their particular industry is willing to call them out on their couture. Happens in my own line of work, too.

Does anyone know if the right side of the seating map is the Flames attack zone for the Heritage Classic? It seems the home team always shoots to the left side. I want to make sure I get tickets in the Flames attack zone.

In past outdoor games they split the 3rd period at the 10 minute mark and switch ends to make up for any wind.

Interested in this story. The Beatles had no formal musical training.

Looking to get my hands on a Coronato Heritage Classic Jersey. Prime Green Authentic is all I'm interested in. Let me know if anyone has any leads.
Can I walk into Lids store and just order one? Would they have some at the Saddledome Fanatic?

A super typhoon in the far southeast pacific will be pushing above seasonal conditions into BC and Alberta into late October.
Could be nice conditions for an outdoor game!

The only pre-made ones in PG Authentic are Huberdeau, Lindholm, Mangiapane, and Kadri. Everything else is custom, and won’t be done in time for the 29th. They also don’t have the patches on them (only the fanatic ones do) but they look like #### ironed onto the shoulders as it doesn’t seem to bend well. You can buy the patch separate, they’ll iron it on for you at the dome, but I think it’s better if it’s sewn on which someone like Great Plains can do quickly.
I chose the Huberdeau one and luck would have it he signed it at the Bonfire event. Bonus.

Your best bet will be to buy a blank one through the Flames store and send it away for customization.
Heads up, I've heard that it's a 6-8 week wait for customization on the Heritage Classic jerseys so if you're hoping to have one for the day of the game you're out of luck.

Classic Flames. Here's a huge revenue opportunity....we made four players, two of which had horrible last seasons and one hasn't re-signed and maybe won't. And if you want any other player you send the jersey away until a month after the Heritage Classic.

Shot themselves in the foot only releasing them a month before the game.
I really wonder how wearing the jersey for most BoA games this year impacted that (imo) silly decision.

People who say they hate Nickleback are the same people who say they hate McDonalds. They're lying. Both are engineered to appeal to the taste of masses.

McDonalds, I fully admit I love. I don't love the feeling afterwards, but during the eating? Nothing I'd rather have when I get a late night craving for junk food.
