I see Tony was on a binge last night, and lost his collective sh*t this morning. They really need to keep him off social media. He is showing his true colors and acting like an entitled spoiled brat. A real bad look for the company, especially with how poorly AEW has been fairing in recent months.

What'd I miss, all I know is that there were these accusations of anti-semitism floating around on the web over a roll of quarters with MJF's name on it, which I don't get.

He made a post with a graphic that said "Bald #######", threw shots at Vince's legal problems when a fan told him Vince wouldn't be throwing cheapshots at AEW on Twitter, then said he would release the Punk/Perry backstage video on Dynamite.
I read that MJF would have kids throw quarters at him when he was a kid because he was Jewish. It has something to do with Jewish people being view as stingy so people would throw small coins at their feet as an insult.
I know it's something that Juice Robinson does but it wasn't probably the best time to do it with what's happening in Isreal right now.

I have zero issues with him dunking on Vince. Vince is a piece of garbage and deserves everything he gets in that department.

The quarters thing has been a huge part of MJF's backstory and has been referenced many times by MJF himself. The segment made sense with how Juice uses them with his character. A lot of the outrage seemed pretty performative, IMO.

Yeah...people took a huge leap to "It's a roll of quarters because Jewish people are know for being frugile with money"...which making that leap is probably more stereotyping than the actual act it self was.
Juice Robinson has been hitting people with rolled up quarters for months, so don't think there was any ill intent about it.

I don't have alot of respect for Vince either but Tony really needs to grow up and stop publicly freaking out every time WWE does something he doesn't like. It's unprofessional and he just makes himself look like an idiot.

Let the fanboys do it for you.
Meh. It's kind of the pot calling the kettle black considering all of the "billionaire Ted" skits and other accompanying shots Vince took at WCW in the 90s.

It's juvenile, but so is wrestling in general.
AEW doing a skit making fun of WWE and Tony having a meltdown and embarrassing himself are not the same thing.
I don't doubt that Vince or HHH have been pissed off at something AEW has done but they keep it private. When they go on social media it's to promote the product.
Not sure why anyone is defending Tony on his cocaine fueled rage tweeting. Yes, Vince is a twat. No that doesn't make Tony any less cringey when he does this.

I'm not arguing that it's not cringey. However, any rage-tweeting that Tony does is 1000x less cringey than having a well-known sexual predator serving as your Executive Chairman.
I see that the Punk news came from Meltzer. How reliable is he these days?
I've enjoyed the Rollins title reign so far but he could use some bigger names to feud with.
Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful has also been saying the same thing. I consider SRS far more reliable than Meltzer and Alvarez, especially when it comes to WWE reports.

I figure talks will heat up in November before Survivor Series. That's when things will really pick up. How will the crowd react in Chicago react if Punk isn't at the event? How will they stage the show properly to ensure the crowd reaction doesn't outstage the main event. Even if they were to tease Rock/Reigns it wouldn't go over well in Punk's hometown.
Personally I'm kind of lukewarm to Punk these days. His best days are behind him. I think there is a role for him in WWE, but he needs to realize he won't be the #1 guy in WWE. Punk won't be the star of the show (he's 45 in two weeks). He needs to be willing to pass the torch as so many others have before him. Just look at Cena, Orton, even Taker who all consistently put over the next generation of stars. Although there is money to be made in Punk/Rollins, Punk/Reigns, and Punk/Rhodes. Those would all be huge matches.
