Why are they lying and saying puck drop will be 8:00? You know by the time they're done with all the opening night stuff it'll be probably 8:10 or 815

Puck drop is never 8:00 its always like 7 minutes in anyways so its not that big of a deal.
I would assume after the player intro they would have something special for Snowy prior to the anthems. Probably looking at 8:20

My one wish for this year (well, one of my wishes) is that they let the player's choose their own goal music. Hate the cheesy, forced, "it sort of has their name in it" music they choose.

Like with everything the NHL is getting exposed why they are so behind the NBA and NFL.
Even Soccer starts right on time and they have anthems and everything.
If you have a 8:00 PM drop you should have you anthems and everything completed by that time, and I am of the opinion the anthems should be done away with anyway.
