Or a dog, he's the only one in my house that would eat it

I would eat it exclusively, if I had hired help to keep it aways stirred.

I liked the Kraft Unsalted Unsweetened variety (in the blue jar) until it mysteriously disappeared from store shelves a number of years ago. I'm told it's not discontinued, but it's hard to find.

I store a new jar upside down, and when I need it, use a hand mixer with only one beater installed. 30 seconds or so, and it's perfectly mixed. Then it is ready for the fridge where it doesn't separate.

I wonder if I could start up an orange julep business in Cape Breton. I imagine it would be kind of stealing the recipe from the Montreal place. It's so tasty though and I feel like Cape Breton needs an orange julep stand

Pretty sure my partner is laying the groundwork for the eventual ‘separate ways’ thing. I love her and she’s a great mother but at this point I’m starting to feel the same. If we make it another two years I’ll probably be surprised.

Except, my little girl. Like #### if I’m going to do anything that would negatively her life. And I’m a damn good dad man. I just can’t even begin to understand how parents can split and not #### up a child.

I hope I’m way wrong because the mere thought of ever not giving that little girl her bath and story time before tucking her in every single night and being there for breakfast the next morning is utterly devastating.

You might want to read up on postpartum depression, it’s real and it can last for a long time.

Hey 81MC - perhaps it’s just one of those relationship ups/downs that all couples go through periodically? Doesn’t mean it has to be the end. Always hard to bring up the subject but may be worth laying out how you each feel and what you each need.
And yeah, post baby is a real thing. Baby definitely changes the relationship dynamic.

I went to a Thanksgiving Party last night and had a couple drinks. I have a pretty high tolerance for alcohol, ate a lot of food, and paced my drinks. I didn't feel any buzz at all really. When I was getting ready to leave, I noticed a girl talking her boyfriend, then he approached me and was super friendly. He was just like dude, did you want a ride home with us, it wouldn't be any trouble.

I was taken aback a little at first because I didn't feel impaired, but just said, yeah that would be great actually because I didn't want to turn it into a thing. He even offered to drive me back the next day to pick up my car. I didn't take him up on that and just got my wife to drive.

I am like 95% sure I was fine to drive, but I also didn't want to be the guy to make stink about it, especially when the couple was so kind and cool about how they approached the situation. They even asked if I wanted to stop some where on the way.

So yeah, there are some really nice random strangers in life and I was impressed that they cared. Maybe they had an unfortunate incident in the past or something.

I also scored bonus points at home when I told my wife why I didn't have the car.

You should just consider yourself lucky that you didnt wake up in a bathtub full of ice wondering where your kidneys went.

spoilered to get rid of mass of text in the middle.

Maybe my bias having always lived in the same city and my parents, grand parents, wifes parents, kids, nieces, nephews, siblings.... But I just never would have thought these things go together. Thanksgiving party and random strangers.

I really thought this was going in a slightly different, more sexy direction.
