The best part about this will be watching people go from predicting the "Jets imploding by losing these 2 key pieces, being unable to retain players in that market" to now deciding that these are overpayments and bad value.
I'm no fan of Helley its no secret, but the league and GM's seem to think he's the best goaltender in the NHL. Fine. Earn it.

See a lot of this line of thinking on this forum and, likely, in most fan bases.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
Schiefele, Larkin, and Horvat are all great Lindholm comparables. Flames are smart by holding the line at 8.6 if that is indeed the case.
