What a miss tonight by the returning champ. Final Jeopardy clue was easy. He didn't even get the 'compound word' part right, which was the category and in the clue.

On the surface, Mongolia sounds crazy, but if you look at a map of the tectonic plates, it's not much worse than what the other incorrect player answered -- Norway.
It looks like the two plates intersect in three countries (Iceland, Russia, and Japan), and 2 are closer to Mongolia than Norway.
