I wonder how long it would take to blow the team up? If the team starts off 3-10-2, would they finally be given orders to make real changes? If so, what major movies could be made (moving Hanafin and Lindholm are the obvious moves).
I obviously don't want to speak prematurely, but after keeping Backlund and changing the coach and manager, can that still happen? Or are we stuck with what we have?

I really think the Flames need to claim someone off of waivers. It should be relatively easy to find a player better than Hunt or Schwindt for the 4th line.

These guys are an absolute mess in their own zone tonight. Couple that with no chemistry offensively and I think we are in for a depressing season.

Huska please try Huberdeau - Kadri - Lindholm as a line. In the shifts after the PK during the preseason they already combined for 2 goals.

This game underlines the problem of re-signing Lindholm for me. The day after you sign the contract, the product on the ice isn’t going to be any better but it *will* be about 9 million more expensive.
If you don’t re-sign him, it’s just going to look equally marginal.
Doesn’t seem a great risk reward in favour of signing.
