^^ and he hasn't been in anything before or since. Sometimes if an actor finds a successful role they should stick with it.
Especially one in their late 40's... like, this is it man, you made it. Time to make some bank to retire with. There's not a ton of roles out there for B-list 50+ year old dudes.

I think it was perfect. There's lots of UK TV that end only after a handful of seasons.
I listened to him on a podcast and he explains further that he's actually played that role (started as a hyper budget short film) for well over a decade.
For him, the character is very old and he doesn't have much else to tell about Ray. I wish there was more too, but fair enough to him.

Yeah, I mean I'm sure that's what every actor and writer wants to leave the audience wanting more.
Perhaps it wouldn't have been so bad if I knew that was the Series Finale.
It was a solid show, Gary was a ####ing beautiful character.

I'm quite late to the party, but I've been watching Dopesick at the same time as reading Empire of Pain and I'm so ####ing angry. My cousin was prescribed Oxy after having surgery to repair a torn MCL after being caught in hot air balloon rigging and being dragged by a car for a couple of kilometers.
He was over-prescribed and fell into addiction. Completely ruined his life. And the god damn Sackler's did all of that by design.

Aunty Donna has a new series on Australian TV called Coffee Cafe and it's brilliant. I don't think there's any legal way to watch it over here, but if you have access to Plex and/or a VPN to watch on the ABC site I would highly recommend it

Does anyone else watch The Challenge? My wife got me into this #### when we were dating over a decade ago and it's addicting. It's a reality show that's like the best parts of Big Brother and Survivor but with more drunk shenanigans. Contestants will come back for multiple seasons over years -- there's some people that have been on the show 10+ times, and they'll hold grudges over stuff that happened years ago and it's great.
Question. For people who watch The Boys, is Gen V any good?
For people who watched John Wick, is the Continental any good?

If you like The Boys then you'll like Gen V. You might not like it as much... but you'll still like it.

No, it's loosely based on the Edger Allen Poe short story of the same name. I've watched two episodes so far (have to wait until the kids are both asleep since it's not age appropriate for them so can't watch to many at once) and it's very good so far.

Its not about Usher and it's fantastic. I know you were probably being sarcastic but I'll tell everyone that it's a great show. If you like Mike Flanagan shows I'm sure you will like it. Personally I have only seen Midnight Mass so far which was very good and now Usher. I'll probably watch the 2 haunting ones sometime soon...

Haunting of Hill House is still the pinnacle of his shows to me... I didn't enjoy the later ones nearly as much. But I have the finale of the Fall of the House of Usher remaining to go and I can say that this is easily second best, or maybe even 1B to Hill House for me.
