I don't think so, they're praising them for playing well and deservedly so. There hasn't been much to praise on the Blue Jays' side.

Funny part is if you go read last years playoff thread the complaints were all that the team was too reliant on the long ball, didn't have any baseball fundamentals, were horrible defensively, and the starting pitching and bullpen was the issue. Plus the clubhouse was too much of a party with Hernandez and Guriel JR

They over-rotated on it but the team defense, pitching and bullpen were what people wanted tk improve and they really succeeded at that.

Problem is in the end Vlad, Chapman, Varsho etc didn't provide the expected power bats this year

Also a refusal to play small ball to execute getting runs when you can. Last year without the pitching I agree but this year you need every run you can get.

They should just take every pitch after the Twins pitching hurt his hand.

Chapman’s final at bat as a Jay was very Chapman.

Going to be the most overpaid player in a long time.

That's the season.

What a dud of a game. Sums up the season quite nicely.

Varsho can’t hit high Fbs. So let’s have him hit against a guy who throws 102 high FBs
