Players going to Edmonton. Wrangler heavy roster, might be the last chance for a lot of these players to impress for opening day roster spots.

Love seeing the 2nd last preseason game having so many prospects in it, last looks before the roster takes it start of the season shape. Hoping for big games from Zary and Klapka to make the decisions harder!

Likely the last chances for Dube and Zadorov to impress, otherwise they're probably Wrangler-bound. Wishing them luck.

Don't forget Vladar. His effectiveness to open and close the bench-gate will tell us everything we need to know about expectations for the coming season.

Dube has had a great preseason IMO, would be a big plus if he has taken another step. Looks like he'll be "the guy" tonight in Edmonton.

I hope the Oilers dress a fairly veteran heavy lineup and lose this one to the Flames for a bit of a clap back for the OT loss on the weekend

With no Coronato in the lineup tonight the Flames will struggle to score more than 6 goals.

I expect Wolf will start tonight and as I mentioned yesterday I'm pretty excited to see if Edmonton plays their stars and how he does against them. Should be fun!

Downside? The stream will be Edmonton's jumbotron I assume so between plays & between periods will be excruciating to watch.

Is the Plastic Man going to deploy McDrai against this lineup? I think that's the last chance for them to secure the preseason scoring champs banner.

It will be interesting to see who the Flames have at centre with that lineup. Zary and Schwindt and then a choice of players that have been playing wing in camp. Dube, Ruzicka, Hunt?

With the rumours of the Giants maybe slotting Honzek at center maybe the Flames give him a look there so he understands what the position entails at the nhl level.

^ That feels a little cruel given the roster the Oilers are starting and on their home ice.

Sure would be nice if he could come out of the gates to start a season like he's finished the last few.

Yeah I hope he gets the start to use as a measuring stick against the Oilers top guys. Even if he gets lit up there will be a lot of film for him and the coaches to dissect and learn from.

Is Ekholm hurt? I don't think he's played yet this preseason. This years LTIR relief?
