Just flipped over after the Jays game. Not sure how much I'll watch but I'll report back if I see anything noteworthy.

I'm one of the people that hopes he does well. Seems like a good kid, good player. And he's in the other Conference. Won't bug me at all if he finds some success with the Caps.

Flames still have Coronato - He's looking pretty awesome! He's gonna make the team. That's all that matters. I'm sure once Pelletier heals, he'll be back on the big club as well.

Mitch Love said Phillips is 5'7 150 lbs on a tall heavy day,

so 5'6" 145 lbs?

Pretty quiet period for Phillips 5 on 5, but he was getting some PP time and looked pretty decent. Probably should have scored late in the period, had a fairly open net. Guess the question for the Caps will be is it worth having him on the team if he's mainly noticeable with the man advantage. And he won't get this much PP time when all the regulars are playing.

The Bruins broadcast team is loving Looch though

Matthew Phillips would weigh 54.85 lbs on the surface of Mars.

He would have no chance in the MHL (Mars Hockey League).

Pastrnak crushed him into the boards 10s earlier on that shift, but he got up and then juked him and put a lovely snipe shot top shelf.

Phillips is kinda made for 3 on 3. Of course, Sutter never practiced it anyway so he’d have never found out.
