If you're invested in the game - either because it's your team or affects your team, or because you have money on it I assume (I don't bet on football), the extra time between plays, the replays, all of it does add to the drama and occasion of a game, so it's not like it's boring in that circumstance. But when there's a whole morning window of games between teams you have no particular reason to care about, just watching what are essentially live highlights is way more entertaining. And the way it's produced is just outstanding, Scott Hanson has it completely dialed to a point where he can effectively commentate three plays going on simultaneously when they go triple box.

Spoiler!

I was curious and looked at the rest of the Bears schedule and it is NOT a difficult schedule at all. The two best teams left on it are the Chargers and Lions. That’s nuts. If they don’t win four or five games they absolutely should ditch Fields and start over.

(For the record - Packers, Vikings, Lions, Commies, Raiders, Chargers, Saints, Panthers, Browns, Cardinals, Falcons).

Well they're going to be favoured in like... none of those games. But if we get the Fields that played yesterday they're bound to win a couple, yes. Five or six? Nah.

As bad as things are going this season, the Bears are in a really good position to nab Williams. They do need to get the next coach hire right to ensure they don't waste that talent as Eberflus is making a good case to be fired.

Is the GM safe? He hired these coaches, including the defensive-minded head coach with the outdated scheme, and signed and/or traded for these players, like Claypool!

I seem to remember seeing something where the average NFL game has just over 12 minutes of real live action. That seems a bit low, but its not far off either. With penalty explanations and adding a few seconds before and after each play you can condense it down to 30 minutes without missing much.

I know a lot of people who only watch Red Zone. Never tried it myself, but might give it a try one day. I do remember back when my Dad had a Satellite dish with a boot card and we had Sunday Ticket, I was surprised how many games seemed to go to commercial at the same time. Did make me think there was some tape delaying from live action to manipulate this.

I get that but that’s the lines. Even bad teams should win about four games a season. The Bears won three games last year, and should be showing improvement.

So I reiterate that if the Bears don’t win four or five games in a weak division against their schedule that they should clean house from top to bottom.

Yeah when I'm way behind and want to get through it quick, I just hit the "skip ahead 30 sec" button right at the end of the play for most QBs and it's usually perfect timing. Elite QBs tend to get the snap off quicker, for them I'll hit "Back 10 sec" button first, then ahead 30 sec (or hurry-up offence situations)

You can get through entire games in under an hour easily like that.

I think the Bears played that whole thing really well last year. Got the top pick, sucked someone else into taking it and now have a line on the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck and Marvin Harrison Junior. This might be the best tank job of all time.

Kudos to Jones for not taking the bait, but this is embarrassing from another one of those guys you wonder how he has a job.

New England all the way! Youll have to be patient though!

That is extremely embarrassing. He shouldn’t have a job when making dumb questions like that, expecting an answer he wants to hear.

It's not like they have enough other people working on Sunday Night Football that anyone would notice if one is missing.

That was really unprofessional. It put Chris Jones at risk of becoming a major distraction by saying the wrong thing. Jones handled it extraordinarily well.

Dunking on Wilson is pretty commonplace right now (I did it yesterday) but calling him garbage crossed the line for a professional..IMO.

That's just absurd bad luck.

Also apparently the tush push requires Jason Kelce to work, or what's the deal?
